Thank you to everyone who participated in an initiative workgroup for the AY 23-24 Strategic Plan! You accomplished so much during this past year and produced thorough, timely, useful products!
This section is designed to provide information on the work these groups accomplished.
Workgroup Highlights
Goal 1: Develop talent, resources, and experiences to facilitate an inclusive community.
Talent Management - On-Boarding
- Created LibGuide for Onboarding. Includes:
- "New to the Area" information
- Library terminology, acronyms, listservs
- Information for Classified Staff, Unclassified Staff, and Librarians
- Created and implemented the pilot Buddy Program
Goal 2: Forge meaningful partnerships that foster affordability, ensure relevancy, and cultivate lifelong connections.
External Funding
- Cooperated with ORI on workshops for GrantForward and SciEnCV tools for grant searches and applications.
- Created a Library staff grant writing LibGuide and pre-proposal form.
