Find a Dataset
To find data from ICPSR Home page
- Search: Enter search terms in the search box and click Search
- Browse: click "FIND DATA>FIND DATA" to find search box and several browse links. Browse by topic, geography, investigator, theme, etc.
Keyword Generation
- Begin by entering your research topic keyword/s into the search box
- Try searching with keyword synonyms for additional results
- For help with keyword/s, browse by Subject Terms or review the ICPSR Thesaurus for lists of subjects and names of people, places and organizations
Filters
Use Filters to narrow search results. Search results can be narrowed using the Filter column to the left of the results (after they are listed) by:
- Subject
- Geography
- Data Format
- Type of Analysis
- Time Period
- Restriction Type
- Recency
- Data Availability
