The Libraries already have quite a bit of licensed streaming video content, including Kanopy and Swank, that you are welcome to use as part of remote instruction. We may be able to purchase streaming access for additional media. Contact Krista McDonald at Hamilton (email@example.com) or John Burke at Middletown (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you see a title in one of our streaming databases that we don't currently have access to, and they will let you know if the library can acquire a copy.
If you are seeking additional information about making a film available to your students as part of remote instruction, please complete this form and a librarian will follow-up with you.
You can always connect students with video made legally and freely available online using our Streaming Video Services (Regionals) guide.
Standard commercial streaming options like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and Disney+ may sometimes be the easiest or, in the case of Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon exclusives, it may be the only available option. Students may have their own accounts, or have to subscribe to them.
