Credo Info Lit - Core: Adding Credo Items to Canvas

Overall Instructions

• Select a Digital Asset in Credo InfoLit Modules
• Copy the LTI Link for that Digital Asset that you wish to use in your course
• Locate your Canvas Course
• Add the Digital Asset to your Course Assignments or Modules (If you add the Digital Asset to an assignment, it will link to your Canvas Gradebook).

How to Add a Digital Asset to a Canvas Assignment

• In course navigation, click on the Assignments link
• Click the Add Assignment button
• In the "Submission Type" drop-down menu, select the External Tool option
• Paste the LTI link for the Digital Asset you selected
• Click "Save and Publish."

How to Add a Digital Asset to a Canvas Module

• In Course Navigation, click on the Modules link
• Click the Add Item button
• In the Add drop-down menu, select the External Tool option
• Locate the configuration URL for the tool that you want to link to and type the URL int he URL Field
• Give your External Tool a Page Name
• To have the tool open in a new browser tab, click the Load this Tool in a New Browser Tab checkbox
• Choose whether or not to indent the item in the module drop-down menu
• Click the Add Item button
