Middletown TEC Lab Makerspace: Glowforge, & Full Spectrum Laser Cutter/Engravers

The maximum printable area is approximately 11” deep x 19.5” wide. The height of your item cannot exceed 0.5”.

The maximum printable area is approximately 15” deep x 23” wide. The height of your item cannot exceed 4.0” (the bed may be lowered to accommodate a taller item).  The front and back doors of the laser cutter may also be opened to fit a longer item, but the printable area is still limited as listed above. The laser is 90 watts.

The MUSE is a 45watt laser with 2" lens. It can operate in an area of 20"x12". It generally cannot handle material thicker than 1/4". It users web-based Retina Engrave software for cutting and engraving.
