These AI tools all work quite similarly: start up a chat session with the AI, ask it for information, and review the results. Beyond these tools and the others on the tabs to the left, you can search through thousands of special purpose AI tools at There's an AI for That (TAAFT).
- ChatGPTThis one has had all of the attention. With a free login, you can now get access (as long as demand volume allows for it) to ChatGPT-4o (4 omni). You may also pay a monthly subscription for regular access to the latest version.
- ClaudeRequires a free login. Claude has its own LLM.
- Copilot (Bing Chat)Copilot is free and does not require a login or for you to provide any identifying information. Copilot uses the OpenAI LLM behind ChatGPT.
- Gemini (formerly Bard)Google Gemini is now available to all Miami users who login. The pro version is not available. Gemini operates using its own LLM.
- PerplexityDoes not require a login to chat with Perplexity, but you may set up a login to save search history or try other features. Also has a paid Pro option. Perplexity uses its own LLM.

Microsoft Image Creator from Designer helps you generate images based on your words with AI.

How to use it: Given a text prompt, the AI will generate a set of images matching that prompt. Prompts should be highly descriptive for best results.
