The University Libraries are in the process of updating our streaming video reserve service to better align with U.S. copyright law. We are no longer able to place library-owned DVDs on our streaming platform in most cases. This revised service model will apply to all courses on all campuses for the fall 2019 semester.

Researchers can use the library catalog to determine audiovisual holdings in the University Libraries. In the catalog, you can sort your results by “Relevance,” “Date Newest” (Received), and “Oldest” (Received). You can also look for videos in the resources listed on our Streaming Video Services guide.
Most audiovisual materials from University Libraries can be put on reserve for a class for the semester. This allows the professor of that class to check out the video for any length of time. Others can also check out the video but will have a checkout period that the professor has designated. This helps ensure that the video is more readily available to students in the class.
