Welcome ENG / WGS 232 Students

This guide is intended to help you start on research for Paper Two: Historial Analysis for Dr. Pearman's ENG / WGS 232 class. My name is Mark Shores, and I am one of the librarians at the Hamilton campus, Rentschler Library. The best way to reach me is by email using the button under my profile picture. If you need to set up a Research Consultation in Zoom or Google Meet, just send me a message.

Best Bets

Books & More - The library's online catalog lets you find e-books by limiting to Material Type: Electronic Resources.

MLA International Bibliography - The most important database for research in literature, folklore, linguistics and more.

Historical Abstracts - The best bet for finding peer-reviewed scholarly articles by historians.  Use the "Choose Databases" option at the top of the page to add another database like Academic Search Complete to broaden your search.
