You are required to use at least one book source and one journal article or chapter from an edited collection. Look at the example below: if you see the words "Edited by" next to the title of an item, you will know it is a collection of essays by different authors. You will also want to make sure it is from an academic source, like a university press.(Harvard University Press, University of California Press). Some good non-university press publishers include Routledge, Palgrave Macmillan, Wiley, Praeger, Sage, Rowman & Littlefield, Ashgate, and others.
Books & More is the library's online catalog. Use this to find all of the items we own, whether it's a book, e-book, video, map or government publication. You can limit by Location to only see items at Hamilton. Use the "Request Item" link to have items sent to you from another campus library. Important: the item has to have a status of "Available" in order to have it sent to you. Watch this short video on how to use the online catalog.
Use OhioLINK to request books from other campuses across Ohio when they are not available in the Miami University Library Catalog.
