Among the functions of the Miami University Libraries' Access + Borrow Department are checkouts of physical collections, renewals, stacks maintenance, and document delivery. In concert with the Advise + Instruct and Learning + Engagement departments, Access + Borrow service points also respond to patron questions and use a shared system for categorizing responses.. Using the navigation, you can find charts and graphs tracking daily and month-by-month activity, pie charts illustrating breakdowns of activity over the previous month and previous 12 months, and links to data files.

- 32,754 linear feet (equivalent to 6.2 miles) of books re-spaced to accommodate the incorporation of psychology, business, and science collections formerly housed in Laws Hall.
