WeVideo is a cloud-based video editor, which is designed to be powerful and yet easy to use, since it is designed with the needs of schools and students in mind. DaVinci Resolve is a powerful tool for video editing and advanced color correction. Its free version has a steeper learning curve than some, and requires a computer with sufficient memory and a good graphics processor.

HitFilm Express is a free version of HitFilm. HitFilm express is a relatively easy to use video editor.

Available to Mac users only, iMovie is a free video editing tool from Apple, which offers a good combination of power and ease-of-use.
