Digital storytelling is a scrapbook of your education abroad experience using 21st-century communication tools. Throughout this process, you can reflect on your experience while at the same time, master the use of (sometimes!) new communication tools and mediums. Once complete, your final product will assist in building interest and supporting students who may participate in a similar program abroad in the future. Your experiences abroad (both challenges and successes!) will resonate with other students and make experiences abroad feel more real for students! The process of reflecting on your program abroad and creating your digital story also can help you to readjust to life back on campus. Finally, you can share your digital story with friends, family and potential employers to demonstrate how you grew and changed while abroad.
