WGS 201 (Kulbaga) by Brea McQueen: Finding Media

Finding Media

For your assignment on Transnational Feminisms this semester, you may find the following LibGuides created by Oxford campus librarians useful. These resources give information on finding and using digital media and newspapers. Please still consult with your course librarian if you have questions; I would be happy to talk with you about how these resources could be utilized in your final project.

In addition, these databases have images, maps, and charts available for many topics:
You will need to log in with your MU ID and password when using these resources off campus.

  • Opposing Viewpoints Research Center - This database covers a wide range of topics. After you enter your search, you'll see a menu of information formats from which to choose near the top of the screen. Infographics and Images are two of the options.

  • CQ Researcher - This database covers fewer topics but has very useful infographics if your topic is covered. See the article section labeled Maps/Graphs on the left menu.

  • Academic Search Complete - This database has an option to do an image search.
