Photograph of 'The Freedom Bus', so named by the children in Greenville, Mississippi who helped create Freedom libraries in 1964. The bus brought Virginia Steel, Mario Savio and one other UC-Berkeley student from Berkeley to Oxford, Ohio to Mississippi for Freedom Summer 1964.
