Books and E-Books

Use the Miami University Libraries Search to see materials offered through Miami University and OhioLINK. This includes not only all of the physical items that we own, but also e-books and other digital resources.

Remember - almost everything you find in the catalog can be requested and delivered to the Middletown or Hamilton campuses for you to check out and use.

Here is a brief video tutorial on Finding Books using the Miami University Libraries Catalog.

Find E-books

The Miami University Libraries Search includes thousands of e-books. Here's how to find them:

Search By: Keyword

To See Only Ebooks: Below the search blank with your keyword, click the option for "Books."

Then after you run the search for books on your topic, click the box next to "Available online" (circled in orange in the screenshot) in the "Filter Your  Results" menu on the left-hand side of the page. Be sure to click "Apply filters" at the bottom of that column. You may also use other filters, such as the Publication Date, to narrow your search.

Click on the title of an item to find out more information about that item and to get the citation for that item. To find the citation, click on "Citation." Then choose the citation style you would like to use. Clicking "Copy citation into clipboard" will let you paste the citation into another document. Always be sure to double-check your copied citations.
