- Find 'Alerts' (For this example it is under the 'About' dropdown)
- Sign up for email alerts
- Like this journal, it may require an account with the publisher, but they should be free.
Citation Alerts
Do you have an article that is highly cited and very important to your research? You can set up citation alerts for these articles.

Web of Science
- Run a search from the Search or Advanced Search page to find the document for which you want to create a Citation Alert.
- Open the full record for the article.
- Click on Create Citation Alert.
- Choose options for your alerts.

Google Scholar
- Create a Google account if you do not already have one.
- Go to Google Alerts.
- Create Citation alerts: Search the article you want citation alerts for; Click on the 'Cited by' hyperlink; Click 'Create alert'
- Enter your email address.
- You can run a number of alerts concurrently, and revisit your Google Alerts account to modify/add/remove alert
Conferences
Conferences are a good way to find out what researchers are currently working on because presentation are typically done before paper publication. You can set up alerts for various conferences.
