Poetry at Miami Exhibition: Spring 2023

Poetry at Miami: 1827-NOW

Poetry has been a part of social and academic life at Miami University since the early 1800's. A new exhibition that opened in the Walter Havighurst Special Collections and Archives in King Library in March of 2023, explores the rich history of Poetry at Miami, with a particular focus on poetry and student life.

This exhibition, curated by Miami students Caroline Funk, Nya Hodge, Anastasija Mladenovska, and librarian Mark Dahlquist considers how student poetry at Miami from the 1820's to the present reflected on human experiences, and engaged with social change.

Please join us at the Walter Havighurst Special Collections in King Library on Thursday March 9 for the opening of the Poetry at Miami exhibition:

3-4 pm - Exhibition viewing, Walter Havighurst Special Collections, King Library

4-5 pm - Curator panel discussion, 320 King Library
