Healthy Together @ Your Regional Libraries: Virtual Services

Remote Computer Lab

If you need access to specialty software or some computing power, we’re now offering a remote computer lab you can access from anywhere. Visit RemoteLab.MiamiOH.edu  to log in remotely to a Libraries computer from wherever you are. You’ll need to be connected to Miami’s network either by being on campus, or by logging in to Miami’s VPN .

Adobe Creative Cloud licenses for checkout

You can now check out the Adobe Creative Suite, which includes software like Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, XD, and more, to use on your own computer. You can reserve it just like you would a group study room, and then log in using your Miami ID. Check out an Adobe Creative Cloud license online

Digital collections

Access thousands of digitized objects across a wide array of subjects. You’ll find photographs, newspapers, manuscripts, videos, documents, and more in our digital collections. Virtual Labs

Virtual Lab is an experimental site for Miami Regional Campus students to access most of the software that is available in the open computer labs and classrooms. Not all software can be virtualized, but IT is adding everything they can to make it easier for you to access the software you need.

In order to access the Virtual Lab, you will need to install Microsoft Remote Desktop and Cisco AnyConnect VPN on your computer. Remote Desktop comes standard with all versions of Windows. It’s also available for macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, iOS, and Android. This means you should be able to connect to our Virtual Lab on a variety of devices as long as you have the Remote Desktop application.
