The Instructional Materials Center (IMC) on the Ground Floor of King Library supports EDT faculty and students. The IMC holds a wide range of collections including preK-12 curriculum materials, lesson plans, juvenile literature, iPad apps, foreign language materials, and K-12 textbooks. Students can find both individual and group study space in the IMC. Faculty and students--from pre-service teachers to graduate students with specializations in Education--can request individualized assistance from the subject librarian and knowledgeable IMC staff.

We look forward to working with you!

Collection Statement

Located on the Ground Floor of King Library, the Instructional Materials Center (IMC) contains resources for EDT students, including juvenile literature, curriculum materials, lesson plans, K-12 textbooks, and foreign language materials. The purpose of the collection is to expose Education students to a wide range of teaching materials, including items that deal with bias or controversy in children's materials. Therefore, users should evaluate IMC materials with their intended audience and use in mind.
